ETC proud to be part of Glyndebourne's Knight Crew Project

Highest GCSE Results in the School's History!
We were delighted to see the results of Year 11 students rise to the highest ever result for the Government’s 5A* to C GCSE indicator (including English and Maths) and the second highest ever results for 5A* to C GCSE with all other subjects.
This shows a progress level which puts ETC in the top few percent of schools in the country because students made such a lot of progress while they were here. In assemblies this week, I asked students which was the better achievement; a student who comes into the College at a grade B in Year 7 who ends up at a grade B in Year 11, or a student who comes in at an F and gets a C by Year 11. Almost everyone said it was the one who improved who had done better, and that is how I think we should see the ETC results in comparison with other schools.
A good school is one that helps its students to make excellent progress, not just one that gets them to the expected levels.
